73 yr old Aboriginal woman sits with us for a reflection on the rights of children, the meaning of wisdom, and the responsibilities of power. (Notes by Willem)

Kids (I have 40 grandchildren) make me a little bit sad. They're always told what to do
I want to live on distilled water.

Wish there was 100 of me but the world's not ready for one of me

How to protect our children?
Did I fail them?
They blame me for not protecting them.
I never asked them that question
I hope in truth I'm a'miss...?
How to protect?
Strangers/Dangers?
Be Polite. Do as your told by your elders.
Show love
I tell them reasonably openly about that special place
The one. No touch harm or hurt.
It's your body/life look after it!
I have the right to protect them from adults telling them otherwise.
Beyond metaphor
Sex education.
Story a teaching tool.
Parents can read to their children
We are the ancestors to become to be given to children of the future
Decide now to become honourable ancestors
Pledge respect
