Join us for an enthralling all-day theatrical journey weaving through the stories of Gaia in her own magic garden as she blooms and unfurls her new life.

The Rites Of Spring is a new festival concept merging art and ceremony: a celebration and renewal of Traditional Spring Festivals and Rites from around the world with a focus on revitalising ecological awareness and sustainable harmony between humans and nature.

Festivities Include:
Opening ceremony In The Village Square
Masked Players, Miracle Plays & May Poles
Sculpture, Music, Installations and performances
Aboriginal, Buddhist, and Gaian Cultural ceremonies
Village Procession with Spectacular Carnival Costumes
The Gold Fields Brass Band
The Ruby Bloomers Women's Circus
The Nomadic Ensemble
& THE GRANDE FINALE
with Malik Diop, King Of The Talking Drum
and Senegal WOW WOW

Visitors from Sydney and Katoomba are encouraged to catch the XPT from Central at 7.10am - departing Rydal 6.07pm. Make sure you reserve a seat.
